The Data Protection Awareness Workshop, co-hosted by the Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC) and Hilton Law Group, was successfully held on December 17–18, 2024, in Dar es Salaam. The event brought together over 700 data protection officers, legal experts, and key stakeholders to discuss and enhance their understanding of Tanzania’s new Data Protection Act No. 11 of 2022.
